This evocative piece takes audiences on a choreographed journey through the poetic, political, and cultural history of Pakistan and its dynamic diaspora in Birmingham. Spanning from the ancient Indus Valley civilisation to the present day, the performance pays tribute to the contributions of Birmingham’s 200,000-strong Pakistani and Kashmiri community — the city’s largest ethnic minority — reclaiming narratives and honouring a rich, living legacy.

The evening will also feature inspiring speeches from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, the High Commissioner for Pakistan to the UK, and other distinguished guests.
